OT: FL peoples?

Patty, so glad you and the others that have let us know are all okay! We'll keep everyone in our prayers still.

So glad to hear the two of you are o.k. I've been really worried about all our Florida friends. Luckily we were missed pretty much for most of the Charleston area. It actually only sprinkled here and we got a little wind but that was it. Foks are cautious though, windows were taped and some places even boarded up. My oldest was disappointed and actually wanted it to hit here. I just told her "Honey you have No idea, be glad and grateful. Storms can kill." I hope we hear from all the others soon.

I am so glad that everyone is ok. But where is Tabitha?

We're fine........funny thing is, my DH almost send DD and I to stay at my DBIL in Orlando and they had more rain, etc than we did. They are missing shingles from their roof and were w/out power for almost 20 hours BUT...noone was injured - thank heaven! Glad to know you are safe and thanks for checking on us! S

We're okay - very thankful "Charley" decided to change course. I feel so for those that have lost so much!

Sorry everyone. I've missed so much on the group. After I get it back on outlook I'll catch up on some things.

I'm doing good. We went to my DH's parents house in Venice. I was scared out of my mind. We were supposed to get it but luckily it went right by us.

I'm happy to hear that everyone is ok.

My best friend just came into town last night. She was supposed to be here Friday night but of course the plane got cancelled.

I'm still having my good and bad days. Haven't gotten sick yet but lots of nausea. I'm constantly eating. Lots and lots of small meals.

DH is on the South Beach Diet and has lost about 20 pounds. I'm so proud of him :) He's getting skinny and I'm getting bigger LOL :)

So much for me to catch up on. Emails, the group, thank you notes for Abby's bday party, and of course I have not forgotten the journals. I so promise I have not forgotten.

I guess that's all for now. Must go to bed now :)

Nope....didn't miss it, I just posted a few minutes ago. We are fine. Almost went to DBIL house in Orlando at DH prodding but stood my ground on staying home. Good thing too......they lost shingles and power but fortunately no injuries. Thanks for thinking about me.
