Carol, My thoughts and prayers are for you as well as ALL those down thar!! this has been some year for weather, that is for shore!! You can not tell me thatit isn't changing! Wonder what their excuse is, El Nino, La Nina, global warming, greenhuse, volcanoes or what - LOL!

I am so glad that you are looking at the way you are too, many are less fortunate. it is my belief that those who are good in whatever way are often those that are spared or served the worst - call it whatever you want, but how you treasure your belongings and and life and what you belief is fact.

GOD BLESS and Hugs to you and yours

Carol,

Sorry to hear about the damage. It must be really hard to get someone to help fix the house with everyone looking for contractors at the same time! When I was still living outside Montreal, I had a house destroyed by fire and I got one of those personal claims adjustors. They actually work for you and not for the insurance company. They do a great job of getting you the best deal possible. At the time that I used him, he had actually just gotten back from working with people hit by Andrew. Not only did they do a great job of sifting through all the paperwork etc that are needed and help you do things in the correct order, they also helped me find people to come and pick up all the things that could be saved and have them cleaned snd/or restored. They are so good at what they do that they actually pay for themselves. Just thought I'd mention it.

Big hugs snf goof luck with everything,

Good ones!!!

The same ones who did the kitchen are now redoing the main bath and the guest bath. We also had the hallway painted after we took off all the wall paper. For now everything is being painted white. That way if we have to sell in May, the people will pretty much have a blank canvas to work with. It also makes the house look bigger and brighter. I'll have to do all the trim myself, but that I can do a little at a time. I also got material today for the craft room at $1.25 a yard.

Thanks for the Goof Luck, Dave :)
