OT: Just a note

HI.

I want to wish everyone a Happy Passover/Easter weekend.

Sarah took a dive out of her crib last night because she wanted her "scruffy dog" which she accidently pushed out of her bed. Beth and Roy heard her thud followed by a disgruntled scream.

Sarah is fine, thanks to the emergency room pediatricians. At almost a year she is taller than the side of her crib where she can bend over the side. Beth & Roy are having a carpenter friend lower the mattress frame so she cannot "flip" out of the crib.

Because Beth has the flu, I'm heading her way to help out since Roy works nights and occassionally the double shift. So I will be lurking until my mother and father can come down.

Hugs, Kate

At a year old my daughter wouldn't stay in her crib. She was such a monkey. So, I put her in a twin bed with guard rails. She looked SO tiny in the bed.

Looks like it's time for a big girl bed. My oldest went into her big bed with safety sides early because I went into her room one morning to find her leg hanging over the top of her crib. Her second leg was still inside the crib, but it was off the mattress. I still don't know how she didn't topple forward. Kids are so top heavy.

Glad she's okay & I hope your sister feels better soon
