OT: Military Identity Theft Information

It will be the second time in as many years that we have been hit. Tricare 2years ago was hacked and many records were lot, distorted and just plain nosed in. I got a letter fro them that mine was included.

I am willing to bet that poor analyst was being 'coerced' to take work home as their workload is totally unbelievable and the pressure to get so much done. So because of that they will probably not get anything done to them, only a reprimand. gov't workers seem to get that little slap on the wrist more often than a professional in another field!!

So I guess I will see if I get a letter again. Heck what am I worried about, VA done lost my records (so they say they have no record of my records!!) about 5 years ago.

But it again just goes to show how vulnerable we ALL are to this kind of stuff and how relied on we as peopel are now to "easier" faster technology.
