During this time of Holiday Spirits, let's give extra thanks to our people in the military. I use to have friends on Indian Island and now they have been moved to Whidbey Island Naval Air Base. These friends need all the prayers you can send their way. They done so much already. Please pass this on to all that you know to keep this prayer going and help to them.

A good way is to send wounded Veterans at Walter Reed Hosp. Christmas cards, or send your unwanted/used cell phones to Cell Phones for Soldiers. Do up a Quilt of Valor for a soldier in Iraq, etc.
You can't just send cards to "Wounded Veteran" c/o Walter Reed Hosp. I tried to "copy/paste" part of this but the site wouldn't allow parts to be copied. Check here for a sendable address (The Vets sure appreciate getting cards!)
