Are you aware the Pensacola quilt show is this coming weekend?

I live on a little island off Vancouver Island, British Columbia. We spend

3 months every winter in Arizona and then tend to stay close to home in the summer. We live on the water so it's nice to spend time in the desert during the cool rainy months here.

Just curious, were you called Bobbie as a child or why the variation from Barbara? Everyone has always just assumed my name was Roberta but nope, really is Bobbie.

This is FUN! As a toddler both sets of grandparents called me Barbara. I was the 1st grandchild on both sides of the family. Mom was an only child, and Dad was 1 of 6 children. Then my sister was born, and all my cousins. Barbara is hard to pronounce for a toddler, so Dad's father started calling me Bobbie, and later, so did my sister and cousins.------and lots of my friends. However, on Mom's side of the family I still am Barbara Ann. You can send a personal message anytime to my computer! I have friends in Indiana who have family in your neck of the woods, but I've never been there, just seen TV programs about it. Looks beautiful.
