printing on flocked paper

Has anyone had any luck printing computer images on flocked or velour paper? Has anyone found a good source of this type of paper for computer use (ie something that won't jam up a printer)? Thank you in advance for any help that anyone could give.

Laser I think would have a real problem. As it fuses the toner to page with heat. You might have better luck with inkjets as the ink is sprayed on. However, the problem is that the little hair like fibers could be a problem for this as well. Not to mention that the color of the paper is really going to affect the color of the image. Probably more so than on regular colored paper.

The only thing I can suggest is to test it on the inkjet. I would not run it through laser unless it specifically said it was safe for laser printers. I would be afraid something would melt and gunk up the printer.

As for a source I got a sheet of maroon from Paper Zone.

I basically just scanned it in as I wanted the color variations it gave. Robert
