Next time you create a graphic or journaling on the computer, if you plan to print on a medium that takes a while to dry (like a transparency, vellum, gloss stock, etc) place a small row of circles or dots on one scrap margin. Then when you print it you'll have some test patches that you can touch to see if your ink has dried yet ... without risking your real image.
