Question about webshots

May 13, 2006 2 Replies

Hi again everyone,

I hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow, whether you're a mom or not and whether you can be with your mom or not, just try to make the day special.

I just posted some pages the other day on webshots and I've never used that site before. I went back to look over my pages and I realized that two on my pages (Mothers and Daughters 1 & 2) have no description but all the others do. I know I typed a description when I uploaded them. Where did it go and how can I go back and fix it?

Thanks, Alida

HI.

I had that problem a while ago too.

Log into your webshots account and then click into "my photos"

Locate the layout and click on the edit key. This will bring you into a place to rewrite the description.

Sometimes when you upload a lot of data into webshots it gets lost. It happens but not that often.

Happy Mommy's day to you as well and everyone on this board.

Don't forget to add a link so we can see your work.

Thanks Kate! Right after I posted my message, I figured it out but thanks for taking the time to reply.

Here's the link again.

This afternoon I am going to try to upload the pages from my other 12 x 12 album (mostly of my kids) and I do have a small 8x8 album of a few pages for my middle daughter. Her favorite color is purple and she saw this purple album so I let her get it and we did a couple of simple pages together. I'd like to have an album for each of my kids if I ever get around to it. I'm planning on having a yard sale at the end of the month to get rid of a lot of stuff the kids have out grown and no longer play with. Plus, my brother has been living with us for a couple of years and he's moving out this summer so then I'll be moving the kids around so that my son doesn't have to share his room anymore.

Hopefully when all of that is done, then I'll be able to have a work space in my bedroom. We have a kind of little alcove (4 feet by 7 1/2 feet) with a sink and a counter and larger mirror right in our bedroom. It's a weird space but that's how it was when we bought the house. Ideally it would make a cute little powder room and we could probably squeeze in a corner shower but we don't have the money to do that right now. Anyway, I never use the sink although I do use the counter for my make-up and hair stuff. After I get all of the baby junk out of there, I'm thinking of using it for my scrapping area. I have a long narrow dresser and a nice shelving unit that will fit on top of it to store all my stuff. I could just turn off the water and use the counter as my work surface.

Now I'm really getting anxious to kick my brother out LOL! I want to have a place to work where I don't have to always put everything away if I'm still working on something. Right now if I do work on something, it's on the coffee table or the computer desk or the dining room table.

Oh, I've blabbed on long enough. I've got to make lunch for my kids.

Thanks again! Alida
