Problems with my Cuttlebug Order at Oh My Crafts

Hi folks

I pre ordered some of the new cuttlebug dies in June 2008 from Oh my Crafts online ( already paid for). In the past week I have sent 5 emails querying my order with no response

Just wondering if any body had a similar experience with them and any suggestions on how I can get a response from them?

They are probably having the same problem other stores are having, that is, Provocraft has only shipped the folders to a few of its customers and many of the stores are still waiting for them to come in.

call them and ask and/or call your credit card company and log a complaint with them.

I had a preorder a couple of months ago from them, and yes it took longer than originally they said it would. Did they give you a delivery date? Check your credit card and see if payment has gone through yet too. Other than that,Just be patient a couple more weeks and hopefully you will hear from them. Linda

i have ordered from Oh my crafts before. If you did a preorder then your not the only one. they also sell on ebay. they are probably backlogged but will get your order to you. I just got my 1st shipment of cuttlebug 1 1/2 weeks ago from cropstop.com. I still have several coming. I ordered in AMy I think. give it a few more weeks. You can't call casue they don't answer theri phone either.

oh im so sorry you missed my post on OH MY CRAFTS... i too had so much trouble with them and they ignored my calls and my emails for almost 4 months..i was so tired of pleading with them to call me or email me or both.. finally she did call but she only gave me the run around..saying its all on back order..i then went on to tell her that being a customer i deserve to be notified about where my order is and she said well its coming.. i also got mad cause they charged my credit card way before i was shipped my order which is not legal.. i wrote several emails daily and finally after all the complaints and threats..[yes i did threaten to go to the BBB ] and also told her word of mouth can do alot to her business..i was polite but strern.. so finally after all the fuss and ordeal it showed up and i no longer order from them no matter what great deals they have..it was nothing but a headache.. they over priced me on shipping which i had to fight to get back also..so i hope that soon you get your order and then do away with her site..its just not worth that.. there are way too many other good sites that want to service your wants and needs of scrapbooking.. good luck....chatty cathy

Just an update: I finally got my stuff. It shipped in 2 parts but I only got 1 shipping notification. The 2nd piece arrived in the last week of August.

Thankfully the whole order was shipped. But I will not be ordering from those people again. They made the whole process so stressful.

I am finding that stores like Oh My Crafts, Cutters Creek, etc. are basically home based businesses and do not maintain an inventory which means when you order from them they have to order from the vendor and then the vendor has to ship it to them before they can ship it to you.

The prices are usually good or better than you will find elsewhere but the trade off is that you are going to have to wait for 2 weeks or longer until they actually ship your stuff to you.
