Cuttlebug

Has anyone used the Cuttlebug dies in the Sizzix Sidekick? Specifically I'm looking at getting an alphabet set, but am wondering if they are too thick for the Sidekick.

Thanks!

No, I haven't. But a friend of mine told me that they fit. She uses them in hers.

I think Dave figured out a way to use them. Search his posts for his posting back in 2006.

I've had mine for 6 months and love it! It's easy to use and makes great cards. If you use it for dies cuts you need to know that the dies will cut into the plastic pads some. I called the company and they said it don't hurt the pads, just makes a slight mark on the plastic. It does a beautiful job embossing and is so simple and fast.

While I still love my Bosskut best, I just had to have the new QK revolution dies. Since I didn't want to spend $150 for the revolution machine, I went with the Cuttlebug. I just love it. Compared to anything besides my BossKut, it is the best I've tried so far. I use all sorts of dies on it, quickuts, QK Revolution, BossKuts, Cuttlebug and Sizzlits. I haven't tried any bigger dies. It really doesn't cut into the die any more than any other machine does.

I too have the cuttlebug and I love it. It makes embossing so much easier. And there alot of dies from different companies that fit into the cuttlebug so you don't have to worry about having hundreds of different machines for that one die that you just have to have. The cuttlebug is very easy to use. I enjoy my machine.

I have been wondering. I have a Sizzix Sidekick. Can I use the cuttlebug dies and embossing plates with the sidekick?
