...if the Cuttlebug dies will work in the Sizzix Sidekick? I was just in Michaels and they have a whole new display with the Cuttlebug and the dies and embossing folders. They have some really cute dies and the alphabets aren't bad either.
Does anyone know...

I read on some other sites that the alphabets will work and some of the other dies. Only the 2x2 size though. There are also 3x3 dies that are too big for the sidekick. I've seen the display also and thought about getting some for myself. HTH!

Aww thanks Melissa :-)
Thanks Amanda.
I read that they work with the Big Shot so far.
From what I'm reading (and I can't find anything official) these dies will work in the regular Sizzix with the adapter. GREEATTT, like I need more dies! (she says as she smacks her forehead).
I saw this cuttlebug demoed at a scrapbook show-I must say they have some very cute dies and their embossing folders are nice too. Will need to check sizes with my Sizzix before buying though. Kathy
Thanks for the info Kathy. I guess I'll have to get one and try it out to see how it works. I was interested in the embossing folders and the alphabets.
Good to know. Thanks.
Me three! I tried out the embossing folders-and was impressed. I've been hoping they fit the Sizzix, but to tell you the truth, I haven't stepped foot into a scrap store since prior to my vacation (which was the week of Thanksgiving). I am booked solid into next weekend, so it will be at least a week from Sunday before I make it to Michaels to check out. 'tis the season! Kathy
pppfffbbbbtttt!!
I had never heard of r seen them and YOU have to bring them up. I have even been in two Michaels here in past couple weeks and never saw them. Maybe were not in yet here or set up.
Anyhow I went to ebay (naughty, bad, terrible, DAVE!!) and put Cuttlebug in the general search and wow!! There is a lot of neat ones and for good prices. I was frustrated though when I went to Provo Craft site to get the msrp on them (for comparison - I do that with everything I do!) and could not get Jack - grr! But still a lot of the 2x2 and 3x3 ones I saw for 4.99 was cheap.
ppppffffbbbbtttt!!

How cool is that thanks for the info! I have a sizzix with the adapter and I have seen some of those dies and they are really nice. I just used my Joanns 50%coupons today...wish I had known. Oh well I have some
50% off coupons for next week I can use them then. Thanks again, Michelle PK2 wrote:
