I think my cards maybe lost in the mail. I mailed 1/2 of my cards out from my local post office. I took them there had them weighed and they needed a few cents extra postage due to the thickness which was fine. I mailed the other 1/2 out at the post office by my job in another town and they were the same type of card (same everything) and they didn't need the extra postage. My cards are probably lost. Sorry!

how did you emboss the snowflakes?

Kate,

The snowflakes were embossed using the cuttlebug machine. The cuttlebug machine makes embossing so much more easier.

Would the Cuttlebug embossing folders dies be compatible with the Sizzix machine or Sidekick? I checked out those dies and they look really cool!!

the cuttlebug embossing dies will fit the sizzix but i personally think they work better with a rolling type machine like accucut or ellisons bigshot(?). I have not tried it with the regular sizzix but i am sure it would work. they are to wide to fit the sidekick. They are 4 1/4" x 5 3/4". they are a hard plastic. I have 3 now, sending my extra snowflake to sandy, and ordered about 5 more different ones.

I am so excited about the new disney embossing folders. I can't wait for them to come out! The date of their release keeps getting pushed back. They just need to release them and soon!!!!!!!!

I would like to do more dry embossing, but I dont have many things to use for it. I bought a hand embossing kit and stencils from QVC and dont really know how to use it without a light box, and I dont have one. I may look into the Big Shot~ haha!! more stuff to add to my scrapping addiction wish list!
