Anyone else have this alphabet? It won't cut. I've tried the QK handle and the ZAZ (which I love so far, btw).
I had bought the ZAZ because I after trying my Olivia alpha I thought it was shot. Turns out, it's not the handle, but the alpha. So now I have two tools, lol. It's not one die, but all of them! The whole darn alphabet. They are obviously going back.

try something first okay? take off all the ejection foam except what sticks in the letters... peel it all off... (just put it on, cut once or twice, then peel the majority off).. now try cutting.... tell me what happens... I had this issue with my mini eliza and QK told me to try this and voila! it all works awesome now!
I actually did try that. Took all the foam off, started over and peeled the background foam off. Did absolutely nothing. The whole alphabet is like this.
I did some googling last night and apparently people are having trouble with the new format dies with the old handle. I found a post on scrapjazz and someone explained how to line up the dies on the handle but it didn't work either. Apparently the only fix for some is to buy the new Squeeze. :( I'll be pretty po'd with QK if all the new alphas are going to be like this.
I sent off an email to QK and I'm waiting to hear from them hopefully tomorrow.

eeek... sounds like a reason for me to hold off on any purchases .... wow. let us know whats up okay? I know if you call them in person they are good to deal with so if they don't email back, call them.
If I don't hear from them by email tomorrow then I'll definitly call. And I definitly will report back as soon as I hear something.
IMO, I wouldn't hold off on any purchases. You can always return them. Someone on another board said that they had the same problem, exchanged the whole alpha for a new one and had no problems. I really want the Snow Angel gift set!

I wanted to sell my entire QK set and get a wishblade but I'm holding off... I need to pay bills, but I know I could come up with the money for more QK dies before I would a wishblade... frustrating though. I might still swing for it if I don't go back to school (money you know)... :D
So by early this am I had an email back from QK to contact by phone to speak with someone live. I called and less than five minutes later, I have a new alphabet on the way. (once mine is rec'd by them, of course). She made a few suggestions which I had already tried, so once I explained that she said they would send one out. She also said that they haven't recieved many sets back that she knew of, so they aren't aware of an overall problem yet. She said that they would test the new set before sending it out. I'll report back once it comes in.
