Well, it's not supposed to be raining in Northern California and I woke up today and it is. Today is the big Sunsplash 8th grade swim party. I was feeling so sorry for my son. I woke him up to break the news to him and his excitement wasn't dashed at all. He showed me the flyer saying Sunsplash runs rain or shine (closes down if there is lightning only) and he jumped up and got ready. So, I played along. Oh to be young again and not have your hopes dashed so easily. :)

First Of all, JANE, you are SOOO BAD!! LOL!
You could send it my way too. The first of the month we set two records here. for the first time since they started keeping records in 1895, there was NO TOrnadoes in Oklahoma in may. Not to say that they have not made up for it now in June!! We also had the seconf driest Mar-Apr-may.It is bad and the grass lready is crunchy, like August.
You know the weather is wacky andchanging everywhere. It is scary to a point and some if not a lot of it I blame on the carelessness and waste of mankind.

It just doesn't stop! Just when residents near the river were told the worst was over, BAM! Another storm hit this afternoon and they're soaked again. Even the town of High River, who had to evacuate residents near their river was on flood alert again. It just doesn't want to end.
