HI Sandy~ I like the big wheel that spins and the pantry unit to hang on the back of the door! The pvc pipe and gutter thing is really neat too!! Right now I have mine in a plastic shoebox and in a three drawer plastic unit. It keeps them free of dust. I may investigate that pantry thing..if I could drape something over it....My house is SO dry...:-( Linda

Some great ideas there... what I need is a way to store my ribbons and fibers that will make them catproof! Hanging them on the wall would be a disaster because the felines would see it as a challenge... I'd give them, oh, about a day! The CD-case storage seems like a great idea though, and so do the little boxes (but they'd be a bit expensive for me...)

I have my rolls of ribbon hanging on dowel rods under a shelf that is over my table. It would be a prime target for a cat sitting on the table. My cat has never touched them though. She much prefers the paper towel holder in the bathroom over the baby changing table. If I forget to take the roll off before I go to bed she will unroll the entire thing and make herself a bed on the changing table.

All of my small/loose/cut pieces of ribbon are in small plastic ziploc bags (like from Michaels for beads) in a large two gallon bag. I flatten it down into my tool box on top of my sizzix when I go to crops. Sandy

I needed this with all the ideas. Thanks a bunch sandy. I seen several I love. Now I got to get my DH to make me one of them.

mine are like that (on the dowel) but hang in the closet on the rod where the kitties can't get them. For small amounts I roll them up neatly and store them in tiny ziploc bags in a drawer.

I just took a leaf out of the site's book and sorted my ribbon into large food-storage containers by colour... I was going to cut holes in them to stick the ribbons out but I think it'll actually work better to just leave them in and rummage around. We'll see what happens when I actually start to use the ribbon - hopefully I'll use it more now it's not all stuffed in a big plastic box in a jumble!
