Sticker Storage

I need some sticker storage ideas. Currently I have mine in an expandable accordian folder, but it is full to overflowing. I need some type of compact storage because I don't have much space for all my scrapping goodies. Any ideas?

Hi Cathy, I use the accessory binder from Creative Memories.

You can buy extra sleeves with different size pockets to fit your stickers. The whole thing zippers shut and there's a handle to carry it. it also fits well into my Navigator. My friend uses a similar version made by crop-in-style. I like the CM pages better though, they are heavier and seem sturdier.

You just reminded me that now that I have my scrap rack, I need to sell my CM storage binder

I also use the one from CM. I like it because the pockets have flaps to seal in the stickers and there are several sizes. I mostly use the one with two pockets for stickers and the one with four pockets for diecuts. Sandy

I have a large accordion folder. I labeled the slots (baby, Christmas, alphabets, camping etc.) and filed the stickers it's working so well my scrap buddies are switching over.

HI.

I have a binder that I found in Michaels that is like a briefcase but zips up when not in use (then again it should but not with the amount of stickers I have in it.)

It's from the Create-a-bag line called scrap satchel. Here's what it looks like:

Thanks Brandi. I have a friend who is a CM dealer. I'll have to check it out.

How much do you want to sell it for? :-)

Thanks Kate. I'll have to check into it. Does it have pockets big enough to hold 12" border stickers?

Yes, it does. They sell a protector made with 6 slots (three on each side) to especially hold borders. though I find only the narrow ones fit, that's why I bought the full ones that hold paper for large sticker sheets.

This ebay will show you what they look like.

Thought I might add an extra dimension to this topic, as here in the UK we do not have access to all the lovely scrapbooking accessories. Those we do have are imported and in IMHO very expensive, so not a priority item if alternatives can be found. As yet I have never gone to a crop and only work in my own home, so what I am going to describe suits my current situation. Nevertheless, I thought it worth sharing as it can help to organise supplies without breaking the bank or those on a self-imposed spending ban.....like me....LOL

Just recently I was shopping at a store near here and bought a couple of photo albums with the intension of putting all my photos in them for easier scrapping. I had already grouped and chronologically organised them in a box, bought for the purpose, but find the photos are quickly being disorganised again as I pull them out for consideration. These albums are "roughly" the size of a 12 x 12 and are basically a 3 ring binder with insert for photos. I started to put in all my photos then had an Ah-Ha moment....LOL....these would make better stickers folders, so I tried it out. Perfect for the standard sticker sheets. Larger or wider sheets I have put in separate A4 pockets in the front and fold them back and tape down excess to keep things tidy. Although not intended for this purpose it certainly has made my sticker collection both organised, easy to use with duplicate sheets filed in the same pockets....price.....£2.99p I think.. The storage you are used to is £30+ here :o( I could buy loads of cardstock/paper for that. It is amazing what you can utilise if you think "outside the box".....LOL Photos of folder in my webshots under Craft Room for those that may find a visual reference useful.

I have sewn "pockets" into photo/page protection pages with a large stitch and only a short backstitch. I made negative holders like this too.
