Hi Marilyn

I loved your layouts. I may "scrap-lift" some layout ideas from Pretty in Pink.

Thanks Lynne and yes my DD is Lynne Marie. Glad that you also liked my furbaby pics. I won't bore you with too many as they will no doubt come through in LO's at some stage.

Nearly missed this Alicia,

I use Epson RX500 scanner and set my resolution to 300 dpi for LO's. I use ArcSoft Photo Studio to stitch, as my scanner only does A4. After stitching I resample to 1200 x 1200 and sharpen lightly, save as JPEG with no compression. I wondered if they were too slow to load for some...I am on broadband so can't tell. If they are, just holler and I will reduce to 800 x

800.

Thanks Judy,

Just looking to the side of me here and I think a tidy up of this = craftroom is in order....LOL I am sure the more space you have the more = you fill it with stash and toys, I mean tools, and the more mess you end = up making by pulling everything out. Pleased you like my LO's....you = also do a great job scrapping your furbaby :o)

uhmmm... I'm very technically challenged here...how does the "stiching" work? I've got a Lexmark Scanner that also do A4 only. Would really rather scan than try to take pics with the digi-cam. The results are waaaaaaaaayyyy better on scanning. Is there anywhere I can download software to do the stitching?

Hi Judy,

Some photo editing packages allow you to take several pictures and turn them into a panoramic view by 'stitching' them together. If you do it effectively you may not be able to detect the join. The one I use is ArcSoft Photo StudioVer 2.0 and I believe it is very old now but very simple....LOL. It still does a nice job though! Have a look in your photo package help files for 'stitching' 'panoramic' or 'joining images' and see if that brings anything up. I will do a search and see if I can find anything that would help you or email me privately....remember to modify the addy or it will bounce.

Marilyn, I took a peak last night at your webshot albums. LOVE the Christmas cards! And I am soooo jealous over your craft attic!!!!! DH walked by and handed me a napkin, "here honey wipe the drool off your chin" LOL I enjoyed your LO's. Gave me ideas for when (that may be many years down the road yet) I get around to scrappin' my boys baby pics and those I have from when I was a kid.

Lucky you! I love IKEA. We had them in town when I lived in Montreal and Ottawa and even in Quebec City. For some odd reason, they are few and far between in the US. The closest one I think is in Dallas or is it Houston!!! Anyhow it is far away!

So let us know what you buy!

My furbaby is named Marie and I wanted to name my daughter Allison Marie (for the 2 grandmas named Mary), but my husband said, "We're not naming our daughter after the dog." He just didn't see the big picture.
