Roll Call of names, countries, states/provinces, and more

You are right with the languages that we learn in school. But it depends on the school you go to. We have so many different types of schools. In some you just learn one language besides the mother tongue. I had the chance to learn two languages, which were french and english.

I surely will.

wondering

It is actually on the other side of Germany. Saxony adjoins to the Czech Republic and Poland. What you probably mean are the Anglo-Saxons. This was a Germanic tribe and actually, at least as far as I know, has nothing to do with the state Saxony except of the name. It's a little strange.

With the new Airbus A380 he should have more room to himself. I didn't see any picture of the economy class yet, but bussiness and first class looked pretty spacious to me. But propably your wallet will look pretty spacious too after you payed for those tickets. :)

I will do that.

There is lots of leg room in First class... LOL! But then it might take a lifetime to get that much money "untightened"... it's so very expensive!!

Ah, glad I learned something! So the saxons though not from Saxony were Germanic tribes that are credited with helping to bring down the Romans and starting what the Middle Age. Your part of Gernamy is really beautiful so I thought I'd share with all of us here on RCS a website I found that speaks of it more specifically:

If your internet connection can handle a video feed, click on A view of Saxony on the left side menu. It is stunning! Now time to go and clean my scraproom. Jacqui and her youngest DS should be here around 4 and Dave around 6!

IM-C,I watched that video! Thanks for the link! I always love seeing other parts of the world. My sister spent some time in Germany when her husband was in the Army near Kitzingen>>(sp?) and Wurzburg(please forgive my spelling :-) She thought it was absolutely lovely over there.

LOL I'm sure the wallet would look pretty spacious! LOL I did a search on the Airbus A380 and nearest I can figure the economy class has only 1 inch wider seats than the "regular" economy jets have now. Looks like business or first class is the way to go. As their seats fold out into beds! Also saw where the Airbus A380 has enough room for conference room, gymnasium, and "duty free" shops.....Sounds almost like a cruise ship in the air! lol Guess that means unless I fall into alot of money I won't be flying that way just yet.....darn it all!
