September Challenge Layout #1

I finally managed to complete the first LO for Lynne's challenge.

My LO includes buttons, alpha stickers and a die-cut. I had trouble coming up with the stickers as I lost all of my alpha stickers, but finally found some rubber alpha stickers to use. They were green instead of black so I painted them as well as painted the die-cut as it was a bright green color. I went to a crop on Saturday and was able to get a few LO's finished. Then when I came home I cleared off my table and scrapped most of the night. I was on a roll with sports LO's. Will try to post more later to webshots

Great page! I love how you incorporated the buttons. You did a great job painting. I would have never guessed that wan't their real color. Thanks for sharing and hope to see what else you have done.

When I went to the crop on Saturday I grabbed the sports box to work on. I was able to complete 2 - 2 page LO's and three one page LO's. I think I have all of DS's soccer pages complete.....at least until I get this season's photos printed. Sandy

It's wonderful Sandy! I really like how you put the pics up against each other without mats. I'm a mat fiend, I must admit. But I really like what you did. I'll have to try that! Maybe it will get me out of the "photo mat box" I've put myself into. LOL

Nice layout! Great use of the buttons, sticker letters and die-cuts. I have a friend working on sports pages. If you don't mind I will forward her the page. She would love it. I had never thought of painting rubber letters. I might have give it a tryalso. I have some purple letters that I just can't seem to use.

I hope to get to Lynne's challenge this weekend. Keeping my fingers crossed that nothing comes up to keep me from scrapping!

Really nice job Sandy. I love the use of (what looks like) a slide mount to frame what I'm presuming is Jesse in the picture. Now that's an idea to scraplift. Kathy

Great page! I would have never thought of painting a die cut or letters or anything for that matter to make it work with my page. Great idea, have to remember that. I like how you used the buttons on the page. Great job!
