In reading the "stash panache" challenge article one gal said, "My pages are 99.9 percent creative accidents. I don't think about what I'll do. I just create." I thought that was the dumbest thing I've read in a while. Well, I'm eating my words the very day I said them. As I created this layout I had no idea what I was doing or wanted to do. I just knew I wanted to get the 5 pictures on one page with buttons, diecuts, and alphabet stickers. NOW GO! haha I'd have to say it was 99.9% creative accidents that made this page.

First looking through my jillons of diecuts I only had 2 baby ones. What huh!? Then looking through my buttons I didn't really have any that remotely matched the paper and diecut. (No you cannot go out and buy some matching ones. Use your stash!) So, happened upon some leftover puka shells that looked like mini buttons and they were a color I really liked to go with the layout. I found some striped paper that I really thought would look nice, but trying to incorporate it and not completely cover up the base paper was a challenge. Decided to cut a large circle and then cut the center out. HA! It's looks sort of like a button. Perfect. Now alpha stickers.... I found several sheets of matching black ones that I obviously been picking off of every single sheet. So, sheets combined and with a little fudging I was able to write out all I wanted too. I added a little journaling and threw my hands up like a rodeo rider. Done!

I'm pleased with the turn out even though the page weighs so much with all the buttons/shells.

absolutely adorable. you inspired me to get the magazine (plus of course two others) and am going to allow myself crafting time tomorrow since Larry lovingly helped me to clean the house today (I guess having guests helps). All I have to do is run to CVS, do laundry and scrap to my hearts content.

Thanks for inspiring.

I love it Lynne! The buttons/shells on the diecut were definately a great touch on the diecut, one I never would have thought of. I have to be honest I think most of my LO's are creative accidents. LOL WTG to meeting your challenge!
