Use Your Stash Challenge #1

Aug 16, 2004 27 Replies

Since I used the example of letter stickers I thought I would start off with them. This challenge is still open to anyone that wants to join. Make sure you keep track of how many layouts and cards you complete. I think we will count each page done as one and every two cards as one. For instance, if I complete a two page layout and two cards this week using sticker letters, I would have 3 total done for this challenge. Whoever has the most done by the end of two months will receive a little gift (scrapping in nature) from me.

I will post each Sunday the next week challenge item.

My personal goal is to not spend any $$ over the next two months on scrapping supplies. (don't worry I have plenty to keep me going) Then at the end of the challenge how ever many pages = how many dollars I can spend to replenish my stash.

Any questions? Hopefully I cover most of the important issues.

Hugs,

Hehe, I think I have enough alphabet stickers to complete 5 scrapbooks!! :)

So this week the challenge is to use sticker letters? So, a layout that does not include them would not count? Just want to make sure that I understand.

Argh, have you been poking through my stash?? I have a bazillion of these, and hardly ever use them anymore. I'm game for the challenge! I'm going to have to get creative with the sticker letters somehow. Lori Shay Louisville

Yeppers, you are correct. A layout must include sticker letters this week to count towards the challenge.

OK...I'll make a mental note not to send you sticker letters. :o) How about pages of Cooper.....you're sure to be able to use up some sticker letters on those! S

Woo I just finished my first page for the challenge! :) wow I haven't scrapped in awhile, that felt good! hehehe

I just finished my first layout for the challenge. The layout is for my BOM, it is about Raggedy Ann my favorite doll. You can see it here:

That is absolutely adorable Linda! I love Raggedy Ann and used to have a bunch of stuff when I was a kid, but my Mom unfortunately got rid of everything. When my daughter was 2 Raggedy Ann stuff was scarce, but I managed to to find party supplies and favors, 2 dolls, and a tea set.

I really like your Raggedy Ann page. I had that same lunch box when I started kindergarten. They're hard to find now. You have a nice website as well. Thanks for sharing.

It adorable Linda. I love the embellishments, especially the Raggedy Ann.

Nice! I love your layout! Long story short I never had a Raggedy Ann and always wanted one but for some reason no one would give me one as a child. Odd, huh?

Does it count if I've already done one or more layouts using letter stickers? :-)
