I am having a blast with digital scrapbooking mainly because there is no mess to clean up afterward. ;o)

That's the best reason I've heard for digital scrapbooking. But, alas, it is all the cutting and piecing that really excites me.

Keep exploring, expanding and creating!

Scrapping with paper is my first choice but when I don't have much time or I don't feel like cleaning up the tremendous mess I make while scrapping, digital scrapping fills the void. It is also a way to quickly make albums for the kids using the extra pictures that I wouldn't really use if I were doing it on paper.

Heheheehe well anytime the word "scrap" or "scrapbook" was used in the body or subject, it got trapped. And you wrote "PSP scrapbooking" in the body. Don't worry, it caught all of us. I lost maybe 10 whole posts, and had dozens delayed for about a 3 week span. Once the Ctech Manager got the moderation list fixed, things improved markedly.

I still don't see it, even using a global search. I've asked the group to see if they can see it, either. It's a mystery as of now.

Activate the Pick tool and then do pretty much what you did in Lifetimez. But you must know that by now. ;-))))))))

No you don't. You can have 12x12 printed commercially (it can be a tad expensive but when you consider you don't have much of the associated costs for embellishments and tools, it works out to be a lot less per page for many scrappers.) Or, you can print 8x8 on a standard photo printer. There are lovely 8x8 albums available, and they are the perfect size for bookshelves, so your albums can stand up straight.

There are lots and lots of print options for digital layouts, it really depends on your budget and your skill level. We're working on a number of

6x4 albums now, for both recipe cards and smaller albums - the whole page can be printed snapshot sized, for as little as 10 cents, and placed in a 6x4 album which can cost as little as $1.00.

Lots of options for digital! (You can buy a wide format printer if you desire, they can be had for around $300 now, not much more than a really good photo printer. But you don't NEED to have one. I really don't use mine for scrapbooking that much any more at all, I enjoy working with the smaller albums.)

Besides the Lifetimez I have been using a program called Scrapbook Max. They have a community and there are many kits available that others make and share. After using both I couldn't chose a favorite, each has it pros and cons. The one big con is if you don't have alot of memory the SB Max program runs very slow but the Lifetimez functioned fine with the 512 mb that I had. I doubled my memory and it works fine now.
