Hi - I have been watching what is going on with digital scrapbooking for a few months now...I have even joined a site or two. I am having trouble actually getting started. I don't have much free time on my hands and I feel that I don't know enough about it to actually know where to start. Can anyone suggest a class or a book, or even a good site that could help me get started?
Thanks! Amy

Belated "Welcome, Amy!" Digital scrappers are in the minority here, but you can get ideas from traditional scrapbooking that apply to digital.
Not sure I can be of much help. I'm a digital scrapper but I do my layouts in PageMaker, a graphics program, not a dedicated scrapbook program. Do you have any software yet?
I started digial scrapbooking several years before I knew there was a name for it. At the time, I was using PageMaker in my advertising job.
10 years or so ago I got the idea to use PageMaker to make an album for an aunt & uncle's 50th anniversary, & a new hobby was born. I'm also into genealogy, so it gives me a way to easily make multiple copies of family photos & data to share with family around the country. That way if something happens to any one person's treasured photos (thinking fire, flood, earthquake here), at least there will be digital copies in another location & their precious image won't be completely lost.
If you want to see samples of my albums, I have some up on webshots:
