I like the paper you used in the background for this one. Is that a stamp that you cut out or is it a die cut? I noticed you used one on the Shih Tzu Gathering too, but it looked like it was decorated with puff or glittery markers. Sandy

Background cardstock is the DCWV Old World stack Sandy. It is cardstock weight - not paper - so it works on its own and the designs are exquisite :o) I bought it from QVC UK the time before last that Nancy Hill was over. It was one of those stroke it or keep stack but I finally bit the bullet.

The shih tzu puppy is a stamped image cut out...same with the one on the Shih Tzu Gathering LO. That one was chalkied to tone it down then embellished with a gold pearlized glitter glue...how observant!!! The faces were picked out using a black Sakura Glaze pen. Take care, Marilyn

I'm going to have to break down and get me some of those Sakura Glaze pens. I've seen you use them in the past as well and love the look. JoAnn's has the Once Upon a Time packs on sale this week. I'm going to try to get to a store this week to pick up one. I will have to watch for the Old World Stack to go on sale as well. I know what you mean about paper packs. Dave gave me one about a year ago that I have not been able to touch yet. It's a Retro Stack and the papers remind me of my teen years. Every time I get it out I leaf through the pages and put it away. I have a couple of photos of my older two DD's dresses in "60's" style for parties they went to and the paper would be wonderful for their LO's. I just need to 'bite the bullet' and break it apart. That sounds like a good challenge for me. Sandy

Sandy...the background of Ruby's page is from the Retro Prints (DCWV). Are you talking about the same one? I love DCWV stuff but I have to buy full price when it is on QVC...no other way to get this sort of stuff in the UK. Sometimes you get lots on eBay...made up from packs that people have bought or had sent from the states....not cheap though :( The PP pack was around £19.99 I think...roughly $40. I also have some retro style papers from the American Traditional Designs - sort of Happy Days style paper - very cute too!

I love my Sakura pens as they are suitable for scrapbooking. You get the Stardust, Glaze, Souffle and Silver Shadow. I use the Stardust to accent (they are really sparkle without glitter shed) and Glaze to give a 3D look. It dries raised! Take care, Marilyn

Oh my! I just checked the sale circular. Both The Glitter Stack and Once Upon a Time are $9.99 for the 12x12 stack. Matching Matt Stacks are $4.99. Yes, it's the same one - Retro Prints. I'll have to look for the American Traditional Designs one. Thanks, Sandy

I thought I recognized that background. I have that same stack. I'm still stroking mine. LOL

I wondered if the puppy wasn't a stamped image. It's perfect for your LOs and looks so good with all you've done!
