update

I'm still reading and trying to keep up but we are remodiling and moving room locations to make a nursery upstairs for the baby. I'm also VERY emotional right now and almost anything sets me off. Star2fire- your story about your daughter leaving just about did me in!!! You're so brave! The new layouts people are doing are great! Congrats on new houses, jobs, babies and anything else I missed. Welcome to all whho have joined our wonderful family, I'm sure you'll all love it! Patty the pages you have been doing for the cj's are great. A couple of things in our lives are quite similar. I married in Oct. 1997 and my daughter Emilee was born March

1999! Are you expecting right now too by any chance??lol We decided on a theme for the nursery. Since we are having another little girl we are decorating with fairies! I ordered a wall paper border yesterday and picked out paint. The contractor can''t come and redo the room for about 1 month but I'm getting excited to see it all together! Anyway I'm rambling- which I tend to do soo I should go. Barb:o)

That's neat, Barb!! Unfortunately I am not expecting right now although I was hoping to be. My emotions got the best of me when I was reading star2fire's post about her daughter going away. But I think I've been that way ever since I new I was going to be a mother for the very first time. I was watching Big Brother 4 last night and America voted for Robert to get a letter from his daughter. He started crying before he could read the first few words and I was crying along with him. Just talking about now gives me the goose bumps and makes tears well in my eyes!! I am a sucker for emotion and sentiment!! I think that's a good thing.

Hope you are getting along with all the preparations! Before you know it, you'll be at the same stage Dawn is - wishin' and hopin' - and waitin' !! Are you still waiting Dawn?

So reat to hear from you Jacqui. I'll pray the surgery goes well. Sounds like a great doctor if he's going to personally call your husband after the surgery. Make sure to keep us posted.

Hugs!!!

Dear Jacqui,

I am sorry that you are going through all this but your patriotism is also commendable. I'd be selfish and want my husband home. (I'm a survivor of 9-11 and feel we are in the wrong country for this war but that is another topic. Yet I support all the military members who are in Iraq because they have a "job" to do.)

I wish you a speedy recovery. I would rather have you taking medicine the rest of your life than to have you too ill to take care of your responsibilities.

When you are feeling better, please keep us up to date. So I'm sending you a bunch of hugs.

Love, Kate

So glad to hear from you Jacqui. Good news on the treatablity of the cancer. Remember to take care of yourself, follow Dr.s orders and do what your Mom tells you to do. I am sure it must be tough for your DH to be so far away from you during this time. I will continue to say prayers for the both of you and send good thoughts your way. Big Hugs to you and DH.

I am so happy to hear that your prognostic is so good. I know that it won't be much fun going through this without your DH at your side and taking drugs everyeday is also a bummer! But at least, as you've told us, once you have the surgery things will get better again. I'll continue to pray that everything goes well and that when your husband returns, he will find all of you happy and well. I really like what you did with the January Challenge and have snagged your pages to add to the website. Keep up the good spirits!
