A good show

Last night I finally managed to see a show called "Secrets of Hate Couture" on the lifestyle channel. The show is a BBC production and is well worth watching

A friend of mine had raved about this show for for months. She had seen this TV show and decided that since the V&A was having an exhibition of Couturier clothing she'd fly from Australia to the UK to see the exhibition - she was disappointed in the exhibition (poorly displayed, too crowded to see anything), but I can see why the TV show inspired her to try to see some real couturier clothing.

.

Is that a show about how designers hate women? ;-)

No, it actually provides a very good explanation of how Haute Couture can be worn and applied to all women regardless of shape. That is part of the reason why it was so fascinating given some of the things I've seen pictured on catwalks.

So, is the name of the show "Secrets of HATE Couture" or "Secrets of HAUTE Couture"? Enquiring minds want to know...

Ooops sorry! I didn't spot my earlier typo so your earlier comment went right over my head :-))

I just could not resist, it was toooooo tempting. ;-)

As a pedant, I can strongly identify with that desire :-))
