It's a bit off topic for the newsgroup, but I'm wondering if anybody has a good method for cleaning the fabric that's been glued into a steamer trunk.
I've been told that the glue is water based, so it doesn't seem like it'd be a good idea to get it wet - thus far the best idea that I've come up with is vaccuuming followed by a damp sponge - but there are old mildew stains that it'd be nice to be rid of.
Suggestions much appreciated...
