Grandpuppie's "slip cover" ;-)

Quick project for my younger DD. She inherited a lovely old wood hope chest from my mother-in-law. The chest has special meaning to us, as it was the first gift my father-in-law gave to DMIL when they met and began to date in college in the late 20s.

Love it!! What a sweet dog -- I know some other people who have one, and adore it. She replaced one they'd had for many years, who reached the end of her span of life. So they're completely sold on the breed. I can see why.

Thanks!

I have had three ShihTzus, and I love them like crazy, but the CKCSs come in real close at second place. This little gal is always so excited to see me she can hardly contain herself, but DD and DSIL are doing a great job of training her. She is a sweetheart.

I love it too!!! That's just absolutely darling!!! Good work, Granny. ;)

She has the sweetest face!!! Those ears just beg to be scratched and petted! And it's impossible not to love a dog who is always happy to see you. No one loves you like your dog does. ;)

Well a little over the top, but McKenzie will not complain. ;->

They are boon companions! My MingTu warms my lap while I read the paper and follows me everywhere: He has a small fleece dog bed in every room, even the sewing room downstairs. He likes me, he really likes me! ;-)

Beverly, that is a great job for a beautiful grandpuppy. I'm sure your DD is very appreciative; protecting the chest plus adding a beautiful piece of art to admire. Emily

Thank you, Emily. She was delighted, and her mother-in-law was there when I delivered it, so I received a few extra strokes. Always a good thing...

very neat! and the little spaniel is adorable! i'm a "big dog person" (golden retriever and a belgian sheepdog in the house currently...boy, when the two of them romp, they ROMP!)...but i have heard so many wonderful things about these spaniels!

Thanks!

My other DD has a Golden, I love that granddog, too. But I'm always glad she lives over there when I see all the shed fur flying about. Makes my nose itch just typing this...
