Thank you for the Happy Day, and to you, too, and all of those in here who celebrate. It was on the German news today because Obama pardoned a turkey. Nice, after all he's to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. However, I'd have been more impressed had he signed the ban on landmines, too. But that's really OT and I'm sure you won't take it personal. Celebrate the harvest of this year, as I did, too, on my wedding day, and let's shake our heads about politics. ;-)

I try to appreciate my good fortune every day of the year, but I'm a little more thankful on the fourth Thursday of November each year. Our family traditions and the extra special meal are savored and appreciated. ;-)

Have a wonderful day!

A happy Thanksgiving to you, as well, and to all who will be observing the holiday. I would join you in wishing our international friends a happy day, too.

Only one turkey gets pardoned. Thousands more go in the oven. ;-)

Banning landmines would be something to be grateful for, and even more, deactivating all those still scattered in the ground around the world. What nasty things they are.

I also add my wishes for a most Happy Thanksgiving or Happy Day to those who don't celebrate the day. I celebrate every Thanksgiving and know I have so much to be thankful for; not only this one day but every day of my life.

And I would like to add my wishes for everyone to have a happy day, either Thanksgiving, Turkey day, or just a wonderful day.

Happy Thanksgiving! Even though the "wrong" side of the pond we are still celebrating in our house today as it is DS1's 12th birthday. Doesn't seem that long ago since he arrived looking like a squashed frog

And to you too. My niece lives in England, and I know that normally the people there do not celebrate Thanksgiving, but her husband sees to it that all of the holidays that she celebrated over here, are celebrated there in there home. He is a Love.
