Looks sharp. My wife is a bit on the conservative side but once she sees it really doesn't get alot of negative attention she'll be ok with it. I do want to go with the proper Clan tartan. I know there are alot of tartans that are for general use, like Royal Stewart and district tartans, and I may add one or two of those in future, but for my first I'm going with the ptoper one.

Libraries in this area don't have Threads or Techniques for Casual Clothes. I did find several sites on the web with instructions I'll be able to figure out. I'll experiment on some denim first.

But still available. Techniques for casual clothes from Threads. $2 from ER Hamilton, a well established bookseller whose bargains have vastly enlarged my personal library...

Tell your wife to watch Screen Savers on the TechTV channel (of course it's a cable channel). Patrick one of the hosts often wears one of his many "Utili-A-Kilts". And believe me when you see those tree trunk, rugby playin legs... Well you don't say one bad word about a man in a kilt!

Pat stopped wearing the kilts for awhile at the producers request, but started wearing them again recently :)
