Hey all! I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a sewing machine repaired. It's a Baby Lock Companion, Intel-A-Stitch 7500. I'm trying to get it fixed as a surprise for my wife. I tried a local store and they wanted a few hundred dollars to replace the computer chip inside the machine - more than the machine is worth.

Do a Google search for Baby Lock to see what is in your area, or call them directly and ask for dealers who can do the work. IF you know anything about computers you can also purchase the parts and do it yourself. These computers are not very sophisticated.
A few hundred sounds about right, unfortunately.
