I think her manager is being silly. If she were playing here, I would never think to go see her -- until I saw that. Now, I would be much more inclined to pay to see her and more of her routines.

She has an ample exerpt of it on her web site.

But the deal about copyright infringement is that if you don't enforce everything you find, you lose control of being able to enforce any of it

-- if it comes to their attention that there is something out there and they do nothing, they lose their right to try to enforce it on a bigger violator.

Larisa, with an extremely eclectic taste in music!

P.S. I transcribed the lyrics to the MomSense song...only took 6 minutes to do...if anybody misses some of what she is singing :-)

So many people would come down to Miami, and play in the Grove or nearby. Tom Paxton, Odetta, Josh White, Jr., Gordon Lightfoot, Buffy St. Marie, Simon and Garfunkle, Bob Dylan, and lots more. Of course, David Crosby lived there until he went back to California and became a Byrd. Fred Neil was in the Grove, and many musicians came to see him, since he was soooo resistant to going anywhere. If you don't know that name and haven't heard him, you've heard songs he wrote sung by Roy Orbison and Harry Nilsson.

So I don't hate you. ;-) You witnessed a rare bit of Americana.

No, I haven't been back to visit since 1968. I do still have friends that live there, and what they tell me is not encouraging. I also look at a blog someone there keeps about current events. When I lived in the Bay Area, I lived in Sausalito for much of the time, and there are stunning similarities. Find a nice little town in the middle of a big city, have a good life, and someone will come in to screw it all up. LOL!!
