- it's awrap top and it calls for facing the front and back opening sections. Thefabric I'm using is a pale blue stretch knit with flowers on, and is seethrough in places (I'm planning on wearing a camisole underneath!). Ithought the facing might not look right, and struck upon the nice idea ofbinding the edges with pale blue satin as the fabric store was all out ofpale blue binding or elastic. What I wanted to know was, if I use stretchsatin, can I cut strips straight across, or will I still need to cut it outon the cross? Also can I use one of those bias tape makers with satin?TIA!
