I think it's my brain! Still mush from too much chemotherapy and radiation treatment!

The spul chucker would be great if it would pick up all mistakes. Unfortunately it can't pick up the difference between 'to', 'too' and 'two' and things like 'pail' or 'pale' etc. And it seems to be short on English spelling of words. I can't think what it was I was checking one day, but it was only when I later saw my post on the screen that I recognised that I'd used American English spelling and I didn't want that.

You have to set it to the form of English that you want. My trouble with all the spelling checkers is that their dictionaries are too small. I need at least The Shorter Oxford on my pooter!

Yep have done that, but for some reason it didn't pick up whatever word it was I was using. Perhaps it was as you write below (which I agree with totally BTW)

My trouble

Well you can't do anything about it if life hands you a manure sandwich. You just have to eat it and enjoy it the best you can.

I know what you mean. I often used to tell the offspring that there was no manual provided at the birth so I just had to do the best I could so if that wasn't good enough, get over it or get a shrink.
