Rescue 911 for my Rollataq?

Help! My Rollataq is 3? 4? years old and not constantly used. I get spotty coverage when I use it - probably because glue has dried deep within the mechanisms. I have used the toothbrush on the grate under hot running water with no real improvement. I hate to chuck it out but I've finally realized that a broken tool is as good as having no tool at all. Any suggestions on how to revive it?

Thanks for your help!

The Rollataq is the most annoying thing on the planet. Run it under hot water. Then run in under more hot water. Let the roller soak in hot water, then turn it a quarter turn, and soak hours more, keep turning it and soaking it. Then run it under hot water again. Never keep it filled with glue when you're not using it daily.

Maybe you can clean it with UNDO. Undo takes the glue off of stuff. Connie k
