Threading help please

Mar 16, 2005 1 Replies

I have just purchased a new yamata model FN2-5 five thread overlock sewing machine. It came threaded of course but when I tied my thread on to it and attempted to sew, 3 of the threads broke off. The instruction book is in chinese (no kidding) with a very poor English translation and even worse drawing of the thread paths. Can any one help me please?

Sad to say, after you tied the ends in, you should have drawn them through by hand rather than just stick your foot on the pedal.

On a 4-thread, it's *generally* (not always) upper looper - lower looper

- needles.

I suggest you pop it back to the dealer and ask them to show you.
