I saw your message, and just wanted to say that the most recent thing that I made was a uniform for my sword class ( and a cooking apron from the left over material. I have all the armor too, but what I made was the hakama and keikogi. I also should look for a group like the now-defunct ABC quilts because I like making quilts.Brian Christiansen

Those are excellent photos that show up the attachment of the treadle mechanism very clearly. Bearing in mind your reminder that the mechanism is hand cast and there may be some slight variance in size, I might ask DH to make me a couple of cabinets of drawers but wait to connect them with the top and back bracing until after the mechanism arrives. He has some other projects going already, so this is a good time to get my project in the queue.
