If it does then basically it's a clone of a Singer model 15 and this manual may be of some help:

I just found an old BELAIR at a junk shop....it is TEAL blue, with lots of chrome bits etc........on it it says: AUTO DE LUXE, ZIG ZAG.....on the side it has a plate that reads 999B, Japan. It is model # 53010C. I am looking for a machine to sew leather with........like skirt or coat weight leather..........this one is not working, looks like it will need a motor and a belt........(no belt there). Can you help with info on the machine and also on where to get a motor and a belt?? what size belt would i need? can you use "regular" needles on something old like this?? Would it be safe to buy something that does not have a working motor, or am I asking for trouble>??? I want something that won't cost me a lot of money......so I don't know whether to pursue this machine or not. It does seem to be very "clean" otherwise. thanks so much for your input....... Staceyb
