Wikipedia is a completely free, non-commercial, online encyclopedia that anyone can edit. Wikipedia has rapidly become one of the most important reference sources on the web (#2 after Yahoo, according to Alexa: ).
It could also become an important reference source for woodworkers. But the woodworking-related articles in that encyclopedia are currently in pretty sad shape; many topics are missing and most articles are incomplete.
Some woodworkers have started a project to clean up the woodworking articles, with the goal to ensure that Wikipedia has as complete and accurate set of articles related to woodworking as possible. The project page, which lists some of the tasks, is at . Come and check it out.
