I'll be visiting my wife's family in China (southern) come this December and am in the planning stage right now. Is there any interesting wood in the country? Also, I read somewhere that wood can be brought back into the US as long as there is no bark, dirt, or visible insect damage. I'll have to check with US Customs, but does this conform pretty much to what people know (or have heard)?
