When using offset turning, how do you make sure the piece is symmetrical? I measured an equal distance from both sides (along the same line), but was not sure what to look for to make sure both sides are even.

Over on the AAW forum ( a few years ago) one of the experts did a spread sheet on offsets and effects. They ended up putting it in the resources, but I would have to go over and look to provide exact names and details, so you might try looking there
