I'm new with a question

I'm getting into semi serious wood working and have decided to get a lathe for my small shop. I have been kicking this around sometime and kinda decided on a 3520A Powermatic. Just want some input from those with a lot more experience. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

A lot depends on what your budget is (for both lathe, chuck, turning tools) and what you would be interested in doing -- bowls, spindle work, hollow forms...

Turning is pretty much of a specialty. Many of us have pretty much given up flat work so as to have time to try to become turners.
