I have a dual shaft electric motor that I intend to use as a polisher/buffer mainly for woodworking. I bought a "Beal Buffing System" which comes with machined aluminum arbor sleeves that have set-screws to secure it to the motor shaft. The end of the adaptor has
a female RH threaded hole and the buffing weels screw into this adaptor
via a bolt secured to the center of the buffing wheel.
Well...being as they only provide (and make) the arbor sleeve with RH threads, The other side of the motor slings the wheel off in such a manner that it becomes a UFBO (That's unidentified flying buffing object just for the acronym chalenged).
I know I could convert one of the wheels to a hole through type and buy a LH stud type arbor adaptor but I'd rather not just yet. I'd like to see if anyone knows of an arbor adaptor that slips on the motor adaptor and
then has LH threaded holes to accept a LH threaded bolt.
I'm also assuming that LH threaded bolts can be had. Thank you in advance for your replys.
