Mutant Bowl

Well, it's a little quiet here, so I though I would post a picture of my latest turning, the Mutant Bowl. It's just another bowl, my 9th turning, made from a piece of wild grained cherry salvaged from our yard last year. The shape is a little awkward, and the picture is very grainy, but I thought the figure of the wood was interesting. It has a short turned base/foot, but you can't see it in the pix. FWIW, Greg G.

yep... that's why SHE does the bowl bottoms, Greg..

I'm one of those left handers that never learned to write upside down, so even my printing sucks..

I am left-handed as well. But as variable as my handwriting is, SWMBO's handwriting is even worse - far, far worse... ;-)

And I never could understand why they made us use those evil spiral ring notebooks in grade school...
