hi all you all seem to know a lot about turning :) and seem friendly too , iv been snooping for a few months now.. just wondering what you lot think of the tobias kaye sharpening jig ?

Excellent! My wife and I moved to Florida a couple of years ago and have been delighted with how many more of our favorite critters have been visiting than we ever saw in New Hampshire, not to mention Manhattan. It's always nice to run into someone who doesn't scream when they meet their most desirable neighbors.

I have been using the Tobias Kaye Jig for a number of years now and find it great. It takes a bit of setting up as you have to make the setting blocks, but once you have done that it is so quick to return to the setting you want for a particular tool.
