Hi I've just launched myself into the world of woodturning. Bought myself a Delta 46-255 lathe along with a Supernova four jaw chuck. If anyone knows of these products I would be interested in hearing your views on this setup, also if I have made a wise choice. I will be posting here from time to time hoping for some advice and tips.

46-255 is a new number to me. Is it a current model lathe or an older one? The 46-2XX series were a group of cast-iron 12x39 lathes here in the States. I have a "medium" duty 46-204 myself. Also two regular and one SuperNova.

I'm still not at the limit of their possibilities, I'm sure.

Hi George Yes it is a current model, it was bought brand new about 4 weeks ago maybe that model isn't marketed in the US. I'm in the UK You can see it here
