46-255 is a new number to me. Is it a current model lathe or an older one? The 46-2XX series were a group of cast-iron 12x39 lathes here in the States. I have a "medium" duty 46-204 myself. Also two regular and one SuperNova. I'm still not at the limit of their possibilities…
Read the full replyHi I've just launched myself into the world of woodturning. Bought myself a Delta 46-255 lathe along with a Supernova four jaw chuck. If anyone knows of these products I would be interested in hearing your views on this setup, also if I have made a wise choice. I will be posting here from time to time hoping for some advice and tips.

Hi George Yes it is a current model, it was bought brand new about 4 weeks ago maybe that model isn't marketed in the US. I'm in the UK You can see it here
