I have a 1.5 hp 3 phase motor, would like a variable frequency control unit that has a 220v single phase input to put on my lathe. I almost ordered a unit from dealerselectric.com, but if there's a pre-owned control out there that someone isn't needing, figured I'd put out the word first. Here's what I'm looking at:
WTB 3 phase VFD
Try eBay, I got my new, never used Fuji VFD from eBay at 1/3 the price.
I'd be interested to know -- 1/3 the price of what? Retail? What did you pay?

1/3 or Mfgrs. Suggested Retail. I've forgotten the exact amount I won the auction for. I was mistaken, it is a Hitachi, not a Fuji model. Dan
Thanks Dan, I'll take a looksee. I also was informed by a fellow club member of a local dealer for Delta products which might be a better deal than dealerselectric, and save on shipping if I decide to go new:
I repeat -- 1/3 the price of what? Retail price doesn't have much meaning for these things.
I am buying VFDs in large quantities, new, from the manufacturer. I have no idea what the retail price is and I really don't care. I'd like to know what you are paying in actual dollars, though, which is, in the end, what really counts.

Right now I have not priced them alone -- they come with lathes and there is a 'package' price. I probably cannot compete with used equipment on ebay, but am asking what people are paying for surplus to see if maybe there is a business here.

It's hard to beat these guys for price if buying new:
See my earlier post today at 12:05. Dan
I saw your earlier post. I don't have a model number so can't even guess about the 'retail' price.
Why don't we just forget about it.
Bill
That's the one I have. Have had it for quite a while with no problems at all, easy to program, and Dealers Electric are easy to work with. Just my opinion.
