I'm glad that you like them Gwen, and thank you for the compliment.
The one that is made with four little squares, is how I join all the squares or hexagons. I join them while I am crocheting the last round, that way there is no sewing them together later.
I have two afghans going at the moment, one is made with squares, and the other is made with hexagons, I think I like the hex one better.
