Hi Amanda! I just took a look around your website.... cute dogs, and very informative as to the equipment. :o)

We have two dogs. My son's 15 year old dog, Buffy is a black & white Border Collie mix (not sure what else she has in her though). My almost 4 year old dog, Casper is a white Golden Lab/Shepherd mix and he's "Mama's" boy. ;o)

I have seen your breed of dog around before but never really knew what they were called.

What made my day a couple of weeks ago was, while driving home from work, I saw someone walking several dogs-- including a Catahoula! I had to stop and talk to them (luckily I wear a DNR uniform, so I didn't look like a TOTAL crazy hopping out of my Jeep). They're not terribly common and, other than Beau, not something I see on a regular basis.

We're getting geared up for the UKC Premier in June (6 weeks to go!!). Beau is in really good weight, but we're doing 3-5 miles (Beau runs alongside my bike) several times a week to get his muscle tone up. It's been cold so long here (it snowed last week!), that I've been lax on keeping him in shape.
